Bio: Elliot grew up in Brooklyn, the eldest of three boys. His parents worked two jobs each to keep their modest three bedroom house while he got himself through his first two years of university on working as a barista. The family was close, particularly Elliot and his mother, Janine. Naturally, he was devastated when Janine was killed in an 'accidental' factory fire. The media reported it as an electrical fire, but Elliot knew better. According to a friend of a friend who worked at the fire as a volunteer firefighter, the blaze burned too hot to be an electrical fire. After months of digging, Elliot found his truth; an illegal chemical processing system running under the factory floor combined with substandard construction materials in the building to make an unnaturally hot fire. The natural next step was to kill the son of a b!tch responsible.
 
At this point, Elliot was so consumed by his grief that the thought of killing someone didn't even make him flinch. So he did, and he never looked back.
He's cut most contact with his family now, save for the occasional email to let them know he's still alive. But he's Enigma now, and as Enigma he can't be worrying about family being used as leverage against him.
 
He misses them anyway. But there isn't much he can do.
